Bone Density
Are you at risk for Osteoporosis?
Osteoporosis is a disease in which the bones have become thin and weak. As

women after menopause. One in every three women over the age of 50 has
osteoporosis. Nearly one in every two women over age 50 will break a bone in
her remaining lifetime because of Osteoporosis.
A Bone Density test is a way to help your doctor measure the health of your
bones. It may also be used to monitor your rate of bone loss and your
response to therapy.
